Terrific thin crust pizza Living in the deep south, we rarely have an opportunity to enjoy the type of wonderful, New York style pizza that we grew up with in New England. Naples Pizza is a cozy, friendly little place, close to the Farmington Inn. The pizza was simply wonderful… perfect thin crust, delicious sauce and cheese, and plentiful toppings.. all at a very good price. I’m a terrible pizza snob, and I loved this!
Large and delicious slices at reasonable price. All the food is good here so u can’t miss. Wash it all down with a good selection of beers. I personally love the barbecue chicken.
Naples pizza is the closest you can get to an authentic Neapolitan pizza experience.
This restaurant uses real mozzarella cheese and fresh ingredients.
They serve a creative variety of pizzas, and their menu includes soups, salads, and good appetizers as well.
At Naples Restaurant and Pizza the waitresses do their job well, customers do not wait long, and — last but not least — a nice Italian beer will enhance your meal, the PERONI, blond and bubbling!
Naples Pizza catered a rehearsal dinner for my daughter’s wedding. We had pizza, salad, pasta, meatballs and assorted sandwiches….YUM! Everything arrived on time and hot. We were so pleased.
We were looking for a good place to eat on the way home from soccer on a recent Saturday night. We picked Naples Pizza since it was right on the way. It was pretty busy (a 25 minute wait to dine in), so we decided to order take out. The busy-ness was a good sign – all of our food was tasty (and still warm) when we got home. We had four different sandwiches – chicken parm (always a good test of an Italian/pizza place), meatball parm and two paninis – chicken pesto and prosciutto. The parm sandwiches were really good – good sauce, good cheese and the chicken was thin and crispy. The paninis were good too – and our orders were correct (I had asked for no peppers on mine). We started with the garlic bread pizzetta – basically a small, white garlic pizza and it was delicious! We also had wings. Nice and spicy with good sauce. I should note that their wings are breaded, which is not my “thing” but they went over well with the rest of the wing eaters in my family. The price/value ratio was good – under $60 for all of our food and we had some leftovers.
Naples is an institution in Farmington. They serve authentic New York style pizza that is simply delicious. Toppings and ingredients are fresh and feature local farm produce. Beer selection includes local micro breweries. Kurt’s staff is always pleasant and attentive. This is where people from Farmington go to dine. If you’re from out of town, you’ll be happy with pizza or a full dinner at Naples.
Connecticut has some great pizza and Naples is a perfect example of it. I have introduced many to Naples and everyone has loved it. A large pie will run you around $20-$22 depending on the toppings. It is a thin new York style pizza. It has a flavorful crust and mild sauce. The actual restaurant is on the smaller side but there is additional seating on the patio when it is nice outside. Friday nights are packed so make sure you call 40 minutes ahead for a pie. They also have some nice salad options, although a little on the pricey side. If you are feeling like indulging their fried mozzarella is delicious. They also sell pizza by the slice, but I prefer to order a fresh pizza. Enjoy.
Enjoyed dinner tonight of a House Salad (large enough that we shared it) and a large House Special Pizza. I had wine here for the first time. A glass of Petite Sirah for $7. My husband enjoyed his Lagunitas IPA for $6. We always enjoy the beer selection at Naples. Our server, Mary Jane was friendly and attentive. Always enjoy this small pizza restaurant near our office.
I have been to Naples on a number of occasions and the Pizza is consistently excellent with great service. Thin style pizza that is very fresh. Can get busy on a weekend night so plan accordingly. Have a nice outdoor patio seating area that is helpful as main restaurant only has 8-10 tables.
Naples is a popular eatery for the Miss Porter’s students, so I decided to check it out for myself. My husband and I had a few slices of pizza (they sell it by the slice, as well as whole), as well as a salad. Everything was delicious, and the service was great.
Naples makes excellent soup and in season, you can get a soup and salad lunch for $5.95. There is a pizza and salad option also and the pizza is also very very good.
And, they don’t show single diners to a small table by the kitchen door. Single diners get the next available seat – usually a booth.
My family and I always go to Naples because it will always be a place we want to go. Never disappoints to serve us excellent pizzas.
Naples has great take out and dining in pizza and salads. My family enjoys Naples pizza- it is the go to pizza in Farmington.Service is always good as well. They also have a great variety of slices available. They have improved the outdoor dining area for the warm weather
Naples is a favorite for a pizza craving lunch. Their thin crust pizza is crisped to perfection. Good overall selection of standard combinations but you can always order to your taste. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere always upbeat. Little known secret: you can order their dough to go and bring it home to make pizza with the kids!
The thin crust, NY-Style pizza is as good as the best NYC has to offer! I should know, having grown up in NY. We also love the salads, salad pizza, chicken parm and paninis. Nice assortment of wines by the glass or larger. My husband enjoys their beer selections. Staff is consistently attentive & friendly. Love how they anticipate ours needs. The outdoor seating area was perfect for our grandson’s 1st birthday family dinner.
We get takeout from Naples at least once a week. Pizzas are HUGE and all other portion sizes are also very generous. You won’t regret driving out of your way to enjoy Naples’ food and hospitality!
We’re gotten pizza from Naples Restaurant & Pizza several times and it is consistently better than any other pizza I’ve eaten in years. The crust is thin and crispy, the toppings are savory and in just the right quantity. Our favorite is pizza bianca a white pizza that we get with spinach. Some nights it’s just the right thing to take away the cares of the world! So yummy!!!
First business trip to Farmington. I stayed 6 days and went to Naples twice! The portions are great and I’m a big eater. The prices are great. Not very expensive, especially considering the entree size. Example, came back home and visited a Mellow Mushroom…such a let down. Naples is one of the better Italian pizza places I’ve been. Waitresses are friendly and the atmosphere is family friendly.
The menu at Naples has grown quite a bit since we were there last and it was huge. The pizza and antipasto was yummy as can be. I think it definitely is the best pizza in the valley and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back there. The service was amazing as well.
I started eating Naples Pizza when Ken opened about fifteen years ago and continue to enjoy the only truly Italian Pizza in Farmington. The crust, depending on whether you order thick or thin, is made to perfection. The sauce is tangy but does not overcome any other toppings. Service is always swift and friendly and they still serve Foxon beverages. Try it, you’ll like it.
Eating solo on business can be a drag but the ladies at Naples are friendly enough to make a cold rainy day brighter. By the slice pizza was very good and Italian veg soup hearty and delicious. Other traveling friends have steered me here and why not, it’s close to everything and nice on the price too.
Maybe the best pizza in Hartford County. Homemade soups are always different and usually wonderful (especially Italian Wedding Soup). Slices are freshly heated and a bargain. Big pies are the ideal. The Naples Special is a meat-eater’s delight but not overkill. Be careful ordering veggie pies–be specific or you might get unexpected sauce or cheese. Booths and tables are at a premium–come early and be nice…don’t linger. Service is always friendly but it can get ultra-busy so a little patience helps Friday evenings. When the weather permits, seating outside is kind of pleasant, too.
We are regulars here – and we’re also health nuts. Usually pizza and health don’t go hand in hand, but the food at Naples doesn’t fall in the “regret” category. They use healthy ingredients, pizzas are never oily, and the food is always fantastic. No other pizza in the area even comes close. The staff is great – very friendly – and always willing to go the extra mile for their customers. Highly recommend. Take out is always good, too (they don’t deliver) – and eating in (or on their patio) is great.
Several times a month, we get takeout from Naples. We almost always get their buffalo chicken pizza, a thin pizza with lots of spicy chicken, and a chicken Tuscan salad. The combination tastes great, is liked by all and is very affordable.
Wow! One of our grandson’s (who considers himself a pizza afficiando) said this is the best pizza in central CT. My husband and I agreed with him because we love thin crust pizza. Naples is a very small local restaurant and the place was packed when we arrived on Friday evening. The waitress took our name and handed us a menu so we could preorder our meal. She said the wait time would be about 20-30 minutes. We were seated in about 15. Once seated, our order of chicken wings was quickly served. We had time to finish the wings before our pizza orders arrived — one large (18″) cheese and one medium (16″) topped with green peppers, sundried tomatoes, and pepperoni. Both were excellent. Our waitress was attentive and checked on us regularly. We will definitely go back on our next visit the central CT.
As a New Yorker I was delighted to have found a pizza place in CT of the caliber of Naples Restaurant and Pizza in Farmington. We were fortunate to have good weather, no humidity and were able to sit in the outdoor patio. Naples Pizza is located in a shopping center on the far right corner as you drive in, next to Starbucks. It’s blocked by nice trees and a bit difficult to spot from the road, but worth the search. We ordered the fresh Mozzarella Pizza, also white pizza and chicken tenders. The sauce on the pizza pie was fresh, delicious, thin crunchy crust. I couldn’t stop talking about how good the mozzarella pizza is.
